11746102Title : Biting cold

Author: Chloe Neill
Series: Chicargoland Vampires

Date Published: August 7th 2012

Description Turned into a vampire against her will, twenty-eight-year-old Merit found her way into the dark circle of Chicago’s vampire underground, where she learned there was more to supernaturals than met the eye—and more supernaturals than the public ever imagined. And not all the secrets she learned were for sharing—among humans or inhumans.

Now Merit is on the hunt, charging across the stark American Midwest, tailing a rogue supernatural intent on stealing an ancient artifact that could unleash catastrophic evil on the world. But Merit is also the prey. An enemy of Chicagoland is hunting her, and he’ll stop at nothing to get the book for himself. No mercy allowed. No rules apply. No lives spared. The race is on.

Review: In this book we see Ethan and Merit on the hunt for Mallory, she is on the loose and out to find th Ancient artefact that could release more evil then the world can cope with. But while on the hunt for one supernatural another one trys to stand in there way and take the artefact for themselves. Ethan and Merit join together to overcome the supernatural threat and Merit almost looses her life.

This book was a litle bi slower then the last one but I didnt mind because I was still in shock from the ending in the other book. I dont  think my heart can take any more shocks lol. Im starting to find these books are leaning more towards the political side of things rather then the action side and sometimes I find that a little wierd. Iv never read a paranormal book series with this kind of a feel in it before. But I have to say Im rather enjoying it. its something different and unusual .  Im no to sure how long the newness will last and how long I will keep likeing it so im keeping my fingers crossed that Chloe Neill shakes things up again and give them a new twist.

RATING OF 4 LIPS.
