REVIEW: Night Broken by Patricia Briggs

17562900An unexpected phone call heralds a new challenge for Mercy. Her mate Adam’s ex-wife is in trouble, on the run from her new boyfriend. Adam isn’t the kind of man to turn away a person in need—and Mercy knows it. But with Christy holed up in Adam’s house, Mercy can’t shake the feeling that something about the situation isn’t right.

Soon, her suspicions are confirmed when she learns that Christy has the farthest thing from good intentions. She wants Adam back and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen, including turning Adam’s pack against Mercy.

In this series we see Mercy dealing with a lot. as per usual. It all starts off by a phone call from Adams ex-wife.  Now if you don't know who Adam is then iv gotta ask why lol. I'm sure you have took the time to read this amazing book series right from the start. Adams ex-wife calls on Adam and the pack for help and protection as she has got her self a stalker.  Mercy has to deal with the ex from hell moving into her home and make a play for Mercy's spot in the pack.

As the books go on we find out that the stalker is more then your average stalker and  he is a stalker of the supernatural kind. He starts killing things and makes a play at killing Mercy . The pack comes together to beat this enemy but not without a few casualties along the way.

In this book we also get to meet a long lost family member of Mercy's which I loved and really hope he turns up in the new books that are still to come.

Patricia Briggs has done it again, as soon as I sat down to read  this book she managed to drag me into her amazing supernatural world.  amazingly well written and amazing details I think it would be hard to find a better book.

as in other books we get to see and be apart of a werewolf pack and Iv found Briggs has  a wonderful way of making you feel part of the pack as your reading .  and we have got to see how each of the main characters have grew from past books. Mercy has become one of my favourite female characters because she is strong minded and never afraid to jump in and fight along side of the men. She is never afraid to do what ever is necessary to keep her family and pack safe.

The one big thing that is getting to me is that I now have to wait so long for the next book and its going to kill me, It had been so long since id read a book in this series and id forgot how much I loved it. its been a while since iv been able to read a book within a couple of days but I have to say this one was never put down.
